Portal Link Management

Each client has a unique link to access their coaching portal.

How it works

Unique link

Each portal has a unique URL like: https://app.thecoachpilot.com/portal/abc123xyz

This link is:

• Personal: Only works for this client
• Secure: Requires authentication
• Permanent: Stays the same throughout coaching

First connection

When the client clicks their link for the first time:

1. They're invited to create an account (email + password)
2. Their account is automatically linked to their portal
3. They access their space directly

Security

What if the link is shared?

The link alone is not enough. Portal access requires:

1. The unique link
2. AND client authentication

Reset a link

If you suspect the link has been compromised:

1. Go to portal settings
2. Click "Regenerate link"
3. The old link becomes invalid
4. Send the new link to the client

Frequently Asked Questions

The client lost their link, what to do? Simply resend them the link from the interface.

Does the link expire? No, the link remains valid as long as the portal exists.
